Even though some people would like to define love very narrowly, in reality, love takes many shapes and forms. Pride Month is a great time to open our hearts and minds to that idea and accept others and their right to live as they choose. 

Shapes of Love by L.V. Penalba is the perfect book to help us do so. This is a novel about a woman who does not feel romantic love. Not only is her story told with the utmost sensitivity, but other forms of love are also covered in the novel with equal sensitivity, including platonic love.
