Welcome to the Come What May Giveaway Hop
We should be grateful for the useful advice we
are given and the lessons we learn. Of course,
not all advice is good, and not all lessons
are equal. Math, science, and other subjects
we learn may be important, but let's face it,
much of what we learn in those subjects we are
never really going to use in our lives
anyway.
Meanwhile, important practical lessons about
living our lives is left out. We need to learn
things like how to live our best, most
confident lives and how to treat others with
kindness and respect. They don't teach enough
about those kinds of things in school, but
they are covered in Dr. Richard Gary Shear's
useful book of advice,
Everything We Should Have Taught You in
High School But Never Did. If everyone lived by the principles
outlined in this book, the world would be a
much better, happier place. For more about
this book, see our previous post Tips for Tuesday - Books: Everything We
Should Have Taught You in High School But
Never Did. Enter to win a copy below.
