I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Let's Talk About Madame Tussauds 2016 and Anything Goes

We were given free tickets to Madame Tussauds for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own based on our experience.

Me - Madame Tussauds was cool! I liked the wax figures. I liked ET. I liked Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. Her basket was empty. I liked the figure of Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show set. It has an extra chair, and you can sit and pretend you're on The Tonight Show. It is like that for Live with Kelly and Michael too. However, in real life Michael is no longer on the show. They also had a news desk with no wax figures and no seats, but you could stand there and pretend to be on the news.  There was a room with a lot of Presidential stuff. There were even figures of the current President and First Lady. You could have your picture taken with them, but the line was too long. There was a figure of Lucille Ball. She didn't really look like Lucille Ball. She had a bowl and spoon so it looked like she was mixing something. I looked in the bowl because I wanted to know if there was stuff in the bowl. There was. It looked like cake mix kind of. There was a figure of the real Madame Tussaud. They also had famous people's hand prints. You could get a wax figure made of your hand. We didn't. It was fun at Madame Tussauds. I like to go there once a year because they change things.

We were given free tickets to Anything Goes for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed are our own based on our experience.
Me - I liked Anything Goes. I never saw Anything Goes before but my Mom and Dad saw it on Broadway once. The story was good. I liked the songs. My favorites were Anything Goes, You're The Top, Blow Gabriel Blow and Friendship. My favorite character was the dog, Cheeky. The dog was so cute. There was also a stuffed dog. It was funny at the beginning of the show when the guy was talking about his dog and then he took it out of  a bag, and it turned out to be a stuffed dog. The acting  in the show was good. The singing was good too. I liked the dancing too. I especially liked the big tap dance number because I take tap dance. The kids in the show looked like they were having a good time. It seemed like fun to be in a show. It was a good show. If you want to see it. go soon because it closes after this weekend.
And that's Aurella's view. Tune in tomorrow for Funtivity Friday.
