I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Mother's Day 2016 at the Trenton Thunder

We were given free tickets to the Mother's Day Trenton Thunder game. Any and all opinions expressed here our own based on our experience.
Me - It was fun going to the Trenton Thunder game on Mother's Day. It was especially fun because our team won. It wouldn't have been as fun if our team lost. I had chicken tenders, and fries, and ice cream with toppings. All the toppings were free. My sister and I won free lemonade. The lemonade was really really really really really good! We had great seats! We were four rows back really close to home plate. The Trenton Thunder have two bat dogs, Derby and Rookie. They are so cute. Rookie is Derby's son. The first bat dog was Chase who was Derby's father. I think to be a bat dog, you have to be in the family. The first bag dog was Chase, the second was his son, Derby and the third was Derby's son Rookie. At first the game wasn't going so well because the Thunder were losing. Then, they struck back and caught up and went ahead. They ended up winning by 2. The final score was 7-5. It's always better when our team wins. It was a fun game.
Mom - We spent Mother's Day at  a Trenton Thunder game. The Thunder are the Double A affiliate of the New York Yankees. They have a beautiful stadium by the Trenton Waterfront. It used to be called Waterfront Park, but now it is called Arm and Hammer Park. It was a really nice day for a baseball game not too hot and not too cold although we did spent a lot of taking off  and putting on our coats as it got warmer and breezer throughout the game. They gave out Trenton Thunder wine glasses to all the Moms at the game. They also had a Mother's Day brunch, but we didn't go to that. We did have lunch at the game though,  and the food was good. I liked that they they added paper cups for condiments. They never had that before. Also, the cups were huge too not like those tiny ones they have at some fast food restaurants. They had free ice cream toppings too: chocolate syrup, strawberry syrup, cookie crumbs, and sprinkles. They never had that before either. The game itself  was good. They were playing the Harrisburg Senators. When the Thunder were already losing after the first inning, I wasn't sure it was going to go so well. However, after a five run fourth inning they never looked back although it got a little scary in the ninth inning when they let the Senators come within 2 runs. It all ended up okay though when the Thunder ended up winning 7-5. All in all, it was a good Mother's Day and a good day of baseball.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Tips for Tuesday.
