I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - TV Shows: Boy Meet World and United Stuff of America

Me -Today I am recommending Boys Meets World. Boy Meets World is the absolute best show ever except for Girl Meets World and How I Met Your Mother. It is hilarious. I love the acting. I love the storylines. I love everything about it.
Mom- Today I am recommending United Stuff of America. If you like history, you will like this show. If you like interesting artifacts, you will like this show. This show takes seemingly ordinary objects and tells you what they have to do with important people and/or events in American History. In this series, you will learn not only what the object is and its significance in history, but where it is located now, and may be even some other interesting facts. Every episode has a different theme which keeps things from getting boring since they are not constantly covering the same ground. Also, if a topic doesn't interest you one week, maybe the next week's topic will interest you.  Topics covered so far have included shocking crimes, snack food technology, the mob, and presidents. Objects covered have included a ladder used in one of America's most notorious crimes, TV dinners, and a cane that stopped  a  presidential assassination. All in all, it's a fun and engaging show to watch.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To Go Wednesday.
